What are fitted shutters made of?
Fitted shutters are made from a variety of materials, so you can be sure to find exactly what you need. Our faux wood range is made of water-resistant PVC composite, while hardwood shutters are constructed from natural paulownia wood. If that isn’t enough to make us your best bet for window shutters, we also offer aluminium core PVC shutters made from polyvinyl with rigid aluminium-cored slats for extra protection and security.
The fitted window shutters’ frames are made to measure from a choice of styles to fit your windows with connectors allowing the louvres to open and close.
As with all our blinds, we provide a lifetime aftercare service. These shutters won’t even need painting as they won’t chip or peel, and if somehow you damage them, individual louvres can be easily replaced.
